The main room is forty-two feet long with a fourteen foot high ceiling, clerestory windows, and hardwood floors.   The room is illuminated by six, large, pendant fixtures with astroglobe accents, three table lamps modeled after the New York library reading lamp, and four picture lights.  All of the lights are dimmable.  The twenty foot long dining table can accommodate twenty guests.  The speakers of the state of the art sound system are completely concealed.

Dining Table

The twenty foot long main room table can seat 22 with ten on each side and one at each end.


When it is not cold enough to make a fire, the hearth is filled with candles.

Piano Black & White

The Steinway piano is kept tuned and is often played by Aaron Prado who is accompanied by his father, George Prado, on the double bass.

Place Setting

The Roosevelt Library can assist you with rentals, floral arrangements, printing and decorations.

The Roosevelt Library has a variety of place settings for seated dinners at the main table.

Tables in the Gallery

The lower floor gallery can seat about fifty in two long tables or at several round tables.

Gallery 1

The gallery can be arranged to comfortably seat seventy and the raised stage works well for making a presentation. A twelve foot screen and ceiling mounted projector are available.

Gallery 2

The gallery has a track and cable system for hanging art which can be illuminated by eight framing projectors. The room is equipped with two sound systems. One system for music and a separate system for a wireless microphone.

Gallery 3

The gallery is illuminated by a two-circuit track system that has a combination of wide and narrow beam spot lights.
